WROUGHT IRON TRELLIS SURROUND / ARBOR

An unusual antique wrought iron (slightly) oval diagonal trellis / arbor / surround / other with mildly everted rim. Approx. late 19th century. Not sure of the original purpose of this heavy iron surround but could be a great garden piece. Note the legs / struts that could anchor it to the ground or maybe attach it to posts or columns to form some sort of rotunda / pergola / pergoda / arbor. Sound condition.
