SPUN BULLET SHADE PENDANT LIGHTS

A set of four antique spun aluminium “bullet” shade pendant lights with original matt black interior paint and original aluminium hanging loops. US, approx 1930s – 1950s. Two have interesting labels (one readable) inside with various inscriptions (UNION MADE, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS, AFFILIATED WITH AMERICAN FEDERATION OF LABOUR, REG. PAT. OFFICE) and a number that maybe a patent or design number. Ready to go. Fully refurbed; cleaned, polished, rewired with brass BC lampholder (positioned optimally for a large spotlight bulb), 1.5 meters fabric flex (the fabric flex also forming a hanging loop tied with patinated copper wire). A beautiful pair of antique cast brass lamps with convex stems and “trumpet end” bases by Russell Erwin & Co. US early 20th century or maybe earlier. A super little pair of antique cast brass wall or table lamps having adjustable knuckle joints, baluster stems, and moulded circular (lead weighted) bases with mounting loops. English, early 20th century. Great quality little lamps that would work well as table or wall lamps, especially bedsides where you could have the option of using them on the wall using the mounting loop cast into the base and / or on a bedside. Please note the little vintage inline ivory coloured “egg” shaped switches. These are old new stock and a rarity. PAIR FARADAY & sON EXTENDING LAMPS

A beautiful pair of antique polished brass Faraday & Son extending brass baluster stem lamps with hexagonal bases. Cast brass with lead weighted bases. English, early 20th century. The ebony handled original switches unfortunately couldn’t be used but can be seen. N.B. The stems can easily be extended and retracted by holding the base firmly and feeding the flex as the stem is heightened or lowered. Cleaned, lightly polished and rewired with 3m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug.New fabric bases. Pat tested. PAIR HANS AGNE JAKOBSSON TABLE LAMPS

A fine pair of 1960s table lamps by Hans Agne Jakobsson (for Markaryd, Sweden, model B44) made from turned and painted beech (original ivory paint) with brass “tray” bases. This pair in great order (few tiny paint marks) and both with original labels to the bases. These have been carefully cleaned, waxed (museum microcrystalline wax), and rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested.
