RAMS MASK PLAFONNIER

A good translucent / etched glass bowl plafonnier with faded gilt brass fittings, the ring mount enriched with drapery festoons and rams heads. English, early 20th century. Cleaned, lightly polished, waxed (clear “museum” wax), original chains. Supplied with 1.5m fabric flex and brass cordgrip/BC lampholder, 3 hook ceiling plate (earthed, with brass grommet, cordgrip and slotted brass fixing screws). All (new) fittings are patinated brass. PALE ALABASTER PLAFONNIER

A white / pale antique alabaster plafonnier, the carved bowl with bead and lobed decoration, with original cut “oblong and ring” chains and mounts. English, approx. 1920’s. Some light (from hot bulbs?) damage to inside center of bowl and cracks/fracture lines but no cracks are opening up and is sound and solid. See close up images inside and out (in the news section of Haes website or with other images). Rewired (1m dark brown fabric flex, brass lampholder/cordgrip) and supplied with 3 hook ceiling plate (earthed, with brass grommet, cordgrip and slotted brass fixing screws). HOLOPHANE HOBNAIL BOWL PLAFONNIER

An antique Holophane moulded glass “hobnail” bowl plafonnier light fitting with chromed brass mounts and original chromed brass 3 hooked hanger and chains. United States, 1920s. Supplied with a nickel plated hooked brass ceiling plate, cordgrip / lampholder and 1.75m fabric flex, S-hook (see image for details). All in excellent condition; cleaned, polished and wired. Chain between the hanger / S-hook and hooked ceiling plate (chromed brass) can be supplied on request to make a customised overall drop. Dimensions in inches/cms; 15″/38cm max diameter inc mounts (bowl only is 12″/31). Approx. 20.5″/52cm height (bottom of bowl to top of hanger loop). 3.2kg.

Cleaned and lightly polished mounts. Supplied with patinated 3 hooked ceiling plate (new, with earth, brass grommet, cordgrip) and screws and 1m fabric flex, cordgripped lampholder ( see image).
