A set of three antique faded butterscotch glass globes with original chromed brass stems/monks cap fittings. Approx 1920s period Art Deco. Comes with original chromed brass ceiling plates (supplied with fitted earths and chromed brass fixing screws0. All polished. The hooks are new. ART DECO OPAL CUBE LIGHT

An Art Deco period opal glass cube (with canted corners) surface mounted light with chrome plated cast brass mount. English, 1920-30s. Cleaned, polished, rewired (new chrome plated BC lampholder). There is a chip to the rim of the shade- it is held securely on three screws. There are two screw holes to so it can easily be screwed to the ceiling, pattress or a standard back box. A good urn topped antique brass bankers lamp with trough shade, square stem, stepped base and original patination. Great quality, cast brass parts. Cast iron weighted base. Taken apart, fully refurbished and rewired. The trough shade has been resprayed in satin white for better light. Rewired with original BC lampholder, 2.5m (exposed) fabric flex, 3amp traditional phenolic plug, new button switch, patinated brass cable guide, new fabric base. Pat tested. A large antique open opal conical glass ceiling mounted light with original chromed brass fittings. English c1930. Cleaned, polished and rewired using a nickel plated brass ES lampholder. Supplied with chrome plated brass screws for fixing the ceiling plate. Reclaimed from a large institution (Pinderfields, Yorkshire). This was the only one of may remaining intact / unvandalised. A rare and good pair of antique art deco period glass slab lanterns with great quality cast brass mounts / fittings. 1920s. N.B. There is a corner break to one of the glass slabs. Please see close up images. This is glued and is reflected in the price. A shame, otherwise excellent condition. They come with their original S hooks (plus a few links of chain) and hooked ceiling plates (supplied with patinated brass screws). They can obviously be hung with longer lengths of chain.
