A beautiful pair of antique cast brass lamps with convex stems and “trumpet end” bases by Russell Erwin & Co. US early 20th century or maybe earlier. These may have originally been gas lamps judging by the inlet pipes (now tidied with tapped in brass grommets/cable guides) Cleaned, polished, rewired with 3m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. FACETED OPALINE GLASS OIL LAMP – LIGHT GREEN

A faceted (appears to be cut glass) light green opalescent glass lamp with cast gilt brass fittings. US? 1950s. Please note i also have an earlier pure white glass version for sale. Cleaned, lightly polished and rewired with 3.25m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested. This has the original shade that could be used (please note it has a loose strut -see image) and the original screw in obelisk finial that fixes the shade to the top of the harp. An excellent quality antique cut opaline glass faceted oil lamp with gilt cast brass fittings converted to electric. Pure white, super condition.US? 19th century. Please note there are later variations of this lamp including a similar one i have for sale. This has been fully taken apart, cleaned (including the unseen interior metal parts that have been rubbed up, derusted and waxed), lightly polished and sorted. A super little pair of antique cast brass wall or table lamps having adjustable knuckle joints, baluster stems, and moulded circular (lead weighted) bases with mounting loops. English, early 20th century. Great quality little lamps that would work well as table or wall lamps, especially bedsides where you could have the option of using them on the wall using the mounting loop cast into the base and / or on a bedside. Please note the little vintage inline ivory coloured “egg” shaped switches. These are old new stock and a rarity. SILVER PLATED CANDLESTICK LAMP BY HAWKSWORTH EYRE & Co

An antique silver plated brass octagonal candlestick lamp by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co.. English, 1st quarter 20th C or earlier. This is cetainly one of the companies candlestick models and probably produced by them as an electric lamp judging by the quality of the fittings (all silver plated) / “conversion”. Slight lean. Silver plate very good with some wear to arrises. Cleaned, polished, rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, original silver plated switched lampholder, 3 amp phenolic plug. New fabric to base. Pat tested.
