A white / pale antique alabaster plafonnier, the carved bowl with bead and lobed decoration, with original cut “oblong and ring” chains and mounts. English, approx. 1920’s. Some light (from hot bulbs?) damage to inside center of bowl and cracks/fracture lines but no cracks are opening up and is sound and solid. Rewired (1m dark brown fabric flex, brass lampholder/cordgrip) and supplied with 3 hook ceiling plate (earthed, with brass grommet, cordgrip and slotted brass fixing screws).
