PAIR FARADAY & sON EXTENDING LAMPS

A beautiful pair of antique polished brass Faraday & Son extending brass baluster stem lamps with hexagonal bases. Cast brass with lead weighted bases. English, early 20th century. The ebony handled original switches unfortunately couldn’t be used but can be seen. N.B. The stems can easily be extended and retracted by holding the base firmly and feeding the flex as the stem is heightened or lowered. Cleaned, lightly polished and rewired with 3m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug.New fabric bases. Pat tested. PAIR HANS AGNE JAKOBSSON TABLE LAMPS

A fine pair of 1960s table lamps by Hans Agne Jakobsson (for Markaryd, Sweden, model B44) made from turned and painted beech (original ivory paint) with brass “tray” bases. This pair in great order (few tiny paint marks) and both with original labels to the bases. These have been carefully cleaned, waxed (museum microcrystalline wax), and rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested. CONICAL OPAL PENDANT LIGHTS

A set of 10 conical opal / opaline glass shade pendant lights with good quality chromed brass caps/ mounts (original). English 1920s -30s. Great condition.Cleaned and polished. These are hanging pendant lights but could be changed to ceiling / surface mount if needed. Three have been rewired with 1.25m fabric flex and have new BC lampholders and nickel plated brass codgrips. Others to be supplied similarly or with a different colour flex. SCROLL & LEAF ARTS & CRAFTS LIGHTS

An antique set of wrought iron and faded gilt brass Arts & Crafts shade mounts/lights with three scrolled segments around a central stem adorned with cut brass leaves. There is a matching pair which also come with their original cut leaf ceiling plates / roses (black slotted fixing screws supplied with these and a similar one with steel decorative outer leaves rather than brass (this one doesn’t have a leaf “canopy or ceiling rose / plate.. One of the pair retains it’s original brass & wood cordgrip. The other two have replacement brass cordgrips. All three are paired with antique handblown glass coolie shades. All approx same period; English c1900. All taken apart (as far as possible), thoroughly cleaned and rubbed up and clear (museum) waxed for protection and a slight sheen. The black paint is original. Each rewired with 1.5m fabric flex. The BC lampholders are original. Priced individually. Dimensions in inches/cms; Pair; 10.5″/27cm tall x approx. 10.25″/26cm diameter (coolie shades).
