PALE ALABASTER PLAFONNIER

A white / pale antique alabaster plafonnier, the carved bowl with bead and lobed decoration, with original cut “oblong and ring” chains and mounts. English, approx. 1920’s. Some light (from hot bulbs?) damage to inside center of bowl and cracks/fracture lines but no cracks are opening up and is sound and solid. See close up images inside and out (in the news section of Haes website or with other images). Rewired (1m dark brown fabric flex, brass lampholder/cordgrip) and supplied with 3 hook ceiling plate (earthed, with brass grommet, cordgrip and slotted brass fixing screws). GEORGE NELSON ANGLED SPHERE BUBBLE LAMP

A large George Nelson Angled Sphere Bubble Pendant. One of a range of his iconic bubble lights designed in 1952. As new with original Herman Miller packaging and labels (see pics). This has only been wired to photograph (using a 4000k opal globe bulb) and was immediately repacked and sealed up. It has a ceramic ES lampholder. Please note that this light requires quite a lot of height and space – it is the largest size in the range. Dimensions in inches/cms; 27.5″/70cm max diameter. 22.5″/58cm tall. FRENCH WROUGHT IRON & OPAL GLASS HANGING LIGHT

An antique iron mounted opal shade hanging light of large proportions. Excellent quality, heavy duty, beautifully made. French c1950 or a bit earlier with a c1900 hand blown opal glass shade. The large opal “oil lamp” shade supported by a substantial rivetted construction iron frame with the central stem terminating in a 3 x BC lampholder manifold. All thoroughly cleaned, rubbed up and clear waxed (x3). Rewired with 2m dark brown fabric flex and 3 new patinated brass lampholders. Dimensions in inches/cms; 19″/48cm tall x 21″/53cm max width.
