PAIR TURQUOISE HOLOPHANE PENDANT LIGHTS

A pair of Holophane prismatic glass shade lights with their original cast aluminium / spun steel galleries and hook. English approx 1930s. The glass and galleries marked Holophane. The turquoise prismatic glass is etched to the inside so has a matt finish and is very crisply moulded. I believe the idea of the colour was to help shift the colour of the outputted light more towards daylight. Photos show them lit with a traditional (2700k) warm bulb and a slightly cooler (4200k) bulb; both transmitting a cooler (more towards daylight) light than if through clear glass. The glass cleaned, galleries taken apart and rubbed up retaining the original paint and double waxed. Rewired with 1.5m fabric flex, original porcelain BC lampholders. Each supplied with 1meter black jack chain (galvanised if preferred), original hooked ceiling plate (including vintage slotted roundhead black japanned screws). Dimensions in inches/cms; 10.25″/26cm diameter. 11.75″/30cm tall inc. hook (shade only is 6″/15cm tall). 2.25kg each. Priced individually. An etched prismatic crisply moulded glass shade with it’s original cast aluminium / spun steel gallery and hook . English approx 1930s. The glass and gallery marked Holophane. The glass cleaned, gallery taken apart and rubbed up retaining the original green paint and double waxed. Rewired with 1.5m fabric flex, original porcelain ES lampholder (perfect condition). A small silver mounted cut glass hobnail bowl pendant light / lantern with a cut glass finial probably by Osler. Edwardian 1900. Cleaned, polished, rewired (1.5m fabric flex, new bronzed brass lampholder, S-hook. Dimensions in inches/cms; 6.50″/17cm diameter. 15″/38cm tall (to top of loop, not S-hook). 1.28kg. One of several Osler light fittings currently in stock (as of end March 2026).

An antique Jefferson Moonstone glass bowl plafonnier light, the original patinated brass mount with anthemion finials. First quarter 20th century. Excellent condition, ready to go with all fittings needed to fit supplied (Wired with 1m fabric flex, patinated brass cordgrip/BC lampholder. Original brass chains. Earthed 3 hook ceiling plate with brass cable guide, patinated brass fixing screws, cordgrip (fits on unseen side of the ceiling plate)).
