PAIR TURQUOISE HOLOPHANE PENDANT LIGHTS

A pair of Holophane prismatic glass shade lights with their original cast aluminium / spun steel galleries and hook. English approx 1930s. The glass and galleries marked Holophane. The turquoise prismatic glass is etched to the inside so has a matt finish and is very crisply moulded. I believe the idea of the colour was to help shift the colour of the outputted light more towards daylight. Photos show them lit with a traditional (2700k) warm bulb and a slightly cooler (4200k) bulb; both transmitting a cooler (more towards daylight) light than if through clear glass. The glass cleaned, galleries taken apart and rubbed up retaining the original paint and double waxed. Rewired with 1.5m fabric flex, original porcelain BC lampholders. Each supplied with 1meter black jack chain (galvanised if preferred), original hooked ceiling plate (including vintage slotted roundhead black japanned screws). Dimensions in inches/cms; 10.25″/26cm diameter. 11.75″/30cm tall inc. hook (shade only is 6″/15cm tall). 2.25kg each. Priced individually. An etched prismatic crisply moulded glass shade with it’s original cast aluminium / spun steel gallery and hook . English approx 1930s. The glass and gallery marked Holophane. The glass cleaned, gallery taken apart and rubbed up retaining the original green paint and double waxed. Rewired with 1.5m fabric flex, original porcelain ES lampholder (perfect condition). Supplied with 1meter black jack chain (galvanised if preferred), original hooked ceiling plate (including vintage slotted roundhead black japanned screws). ART DECO OPAL CUBE LIGHT

An Art Deco period opal glass cube (with canted corners) surface mounted light with chrome plated cast brass mount. English, 1920-30s. Cleaned, polished, rewired (new chrome plated BC lampholder). There is a chip to the rim of the shade- it is held securely on three screws. There are two screw holes to so it can easily be screwed to the ceiling, pattress or a standard back box. OSLER HALL LIGHT

A small silver mounted cut glass hobnail bowl pendant light / lantern with a cut glass finial probably by Osler. Edwardian 1900. Cleaned, polished, rewired (1.5m fabric flex, new bronzed brass lampholder, S-hook. Dimensions in inches/cms; 6.50″/17cm diameter. 15″/38cm tall (to top of loop, not S-hook). 1.28kg. One of several Osler light fittings currently in stock (as of end March 2026).

A 1970s crystal glass table lamp by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors. Swedish. Signed ORREFORS RD 1477 to base and to the nickel plated brass top cap. Cleaned and rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, nickel plated brass safety-switched lampholder, 3amp traditional white phenolic plug. Pat tested. Dimensions in inches/cms; 15.25″/39cm tall inc. lampholder (12″/31cm glass base only). 4.75″/12cm base diameter.
