BRASS GEC STUDENTS LAMP

A large brass antique GEC students / desk / office / work lamp in excellent condition paired with a Holophane prismatic shade (marked Holophane). English 1920s-30s. Excellent condition. Very sturdy with heavy weighted base. Fully adjustable; shade arm moves up and down and around the central stem, the shade moves up and down on a thumbscrew operated joint. Rewired with 3m fabric flex, polished safety-switched lampholder and 3amp phenolic plug. Pat tested. Dimensions in inches/cms; 23.25″/59cm tall. Shade is 5.5″/14cm max diameter. 4.5kg. BANKERS DESK LAMP HEART SHAPED BASE

An antique brass bankers desk lamp with a heart shaped base. English approx 1930s. In complete good condition with overall even patination. Adjustable; the stem by a large thumbscrew operated joint at the base, and the shades moves up and down. Fully restored; taken apart, cleaned, lightly polished, the inside of the shade resprayed matt white to improve light quality. Fully rewired; 2.5m exposed fabric flex, new patinated BC lampholder, new British made patinated brass toggle switch (good strong click) and new fabric to the cast iron weighted base. Pat tested. An antique desk lamp with a brass flexi stem, angle sided oblong base with original dark green “wrinkled” paint. Paired with a chromed brass period shell shade. English, c1940. An antique decorative gilt brass students lamp in excellent condition paired with a 1920s moulded glass shade.. Early 2th century. Fully adjustable; the arm moves up and down and around the stem using a clever spring loaded mechanism. The arm is also attached to a ball and socket joint allowing any angle to be achieved. An antique brass bankers lamp with original bronze patination. English 1920s-30s. In overall excellent condition with great colour (small dent to front stem). Adjustable with large wingnut, shade adjusts up and down. Ready to go; cleaned, new fabric to base, inside of shade T-cutted/rubbed up and clear (museum) waxed, completely rewired with new BC lampholder, 2.5m (exposed) dark brown fabric flex and phenolic 3amp plug. PAW FOOTED BRASS LAMP BY FARADAY & SON

An antique paw footed triangular moulded base baluster stem cast brass lamp by Faraday & Son (marked) with original patination. English, early 20th century. This little lamp has a definite lean to the stem so please don’t buy if this might spoil it for you. Great colour and quality with original working switch – a rarity ( use ANTICLOCKWISE as it works more smoothly and if turning on and off consider fitting an inline switch as well, i can do this for an additional fee).
