OPEN OPAL CONICAL LIGHT

A large antique open opal conical glass ceiling mounted light with original chromed brass fittings. English c1930. Cleaned, polished and rewired using a nickel plated brass ES lampholder. Supplied with chrome plated brass screws for fixing the ceiling plate. Reclaimed from a large institution (Pinderfields, Yorkshire). This was the only one of may remaining intact / unvandalised. PAIR ART DECO GLASS LANTERNS

A rare and good pair of antique art deco period glass slab lanterns with great quality cast brass mounts / fittings. 1920s. N.B. There is a corner break to one of the glass slabs. Please see close up images. This is glued and is reflected in the price. A shame, otherwise excellent condition. They come with their original S hooks (plus a few links of chain) and hooked ceiling plates (supplied with patinated brass screws). They can obviously be hung with longer lengths of chain. A pair of spun aluminium Corona Pendants by Jo Hammerborg (1963 Fog & Morup). These are original 1960s ones, not later repros. Very minor dints but not noticeable. Black exterior (some wear),grey, white and cyclamen interior paint. Cleaned and waxed (inside and out). Rewired with 2m black fabric flex and new BC lampholders. OTTOMAN GLASS LANTERN

A colourful painted antique “crackle” glass lantern with quality brass hanging mounts / loops. Not sure of the origins of this lamp. Seems to be an Ottoman theme. Early 20th century- 1920s. Excellent quality and in largely very good condition ( couple small splinters chips to upper rim of glass-see close up images – please note the glass is thick and robust). Cleaned and rewired ( 1.5m fabric flex, bronzed brass BC lampholder / cordgrip). Hangs with new solid patinated brass chain and hooked ceiling plate (earthed, brass cable guide, brass fixing screws). An approx mid century pair of matt / satin opal glass pendant lamps with cylinder centers and narrowing concavely top and bottom. VAL ST LAMBERT GLASS LANTERN

An antique Val St Lambert glass lantern with decorative repousse brass band hooked mount. Belgium c1900. Etched inscription (see photo) to side reads; DE GRELLE VAL ST LAMBERT MADE IN BELGIUM BEST CRYSTAL GLASS. Now electrified without using the original glass smoke cover (which i may still have). Ready to go; wired with approx. 1m fabric flex and patinated brass BC lampholder / cordgrip. Complete with solid brass patinated brass chains and a patinated brass ceiling 3 hook plate (earthed, brass cable guide, cordgrip, patinated slotted brass fixing screws). See close up images for details. Dimensions in inches/cms; Drop (ceiling to bottom of glass) is 30.5″/77.5cm. This could easily be reduced. Glass shade only is 12.5″/32cm tall.
