An antique brass students / desk / reading lamp in faded gilt, adjustable in height and angle, with a svelte knopped shaft, looped handle, and heavy lead weighted base. Approx 1920s. In excellent condition, rewired with 3m fabric flex,patinated safety-switched lampholder, 3amp traditional phenolic plug. New fabric base. Pat tested. Dimensions in inches/cms; 21″/53cm tall (lampholder adusts in height from approx 8″/29cm to approx. 18″/46cm). Max width is approx 10.5″/26.5cm. 5.35″/13.25cm base diameter. 2.5kg weight.
