A pair of “gothic revival” chamfered mahogany armchairs with thick shaped slab seats, X-frame legs joined with a turned stretcher and original horsehair & leather upholstery. English 19th century. Sturdy, comfortable, some nice colour. They are comfortable. Upholstery is okay and useable, could be redone or reinforced in places. Dimensions in inches/cms; 32″/81.5cm tall. 27.5″/70cm max depth. 23.75″/60cm max width (at arm rests) Seat width is 21.625″/52.5cm wide at the front (and 17.5″/45cm wide at the rear).
