DOUBLE SIDED BULKHEAD LAMP BY SIMPLEX

A rare antique cast iron double sided circular bulkhead lamp with domed glass shades suspended with a steel conduit stem and a ball and socket jointed ceiling plate. English, 2nd quarter 20th century. I have only owned and seen one of these. All original parts / fittings and original paint in excellent condition. Fully cleaned, rubbed up and 2 coats clear “museum” wax. Rewired and ready to go (may require new gasket if using in a damp environment). Has a BC lampholder. FACETED OPALINE GLASS OIL LAMP – LIGHT GREEN

A faceted (appears to be cut glass) light green opalescent glass lamp with cast gilt brass fittings. US? 1950s. Please note i also have an earlier pure white glass version for sale. Cleaned, lightly polished and rewired with 3.25m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested. This has the original shade that could be used (please note it has a loose strut -see image) and the original screw in obelisk finial that fixes the shade to the top of the harp. FACETED OPALINE GLASS OIL LAMP

An excellent quality antique cut opaline glass faceted oil lamp with gilt cast brass fittings converted to electric. Pure white, super condition.US? 19th century. Please note there are later variations of this lamp including a similar one i have for sale. This has been fully taken apart, cleaned (including the unseen interior metal parts that have been rubbed up, derusted and waxed), lightly polished and sorted. Rewired with 3m fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. New fabric base. Pat tested. PAIR CAST BRASS WALL / TABLE LAMPS

A super little pair of antique cast brass wall or table lamps having adjustable knuckle joints, baluster stems, and moulded circular (lead weighted) bases with mounting loops. English, early 20th century. Great quality little lamps that would work well as table or wall lamps, especially bedsides where you could have the option of using them on the wall using the mounting loop cast into the base and / or on a bedside. Please note the little vintage inline ivory coloured “egg” shaped switches. These are old new stock and a rarity.
